[SOLVED] Help me please!

My friend's system is infected by a virus/worm named
name: celwn.cmd
type: Win32:Sality-gen

I formated the system once(only c:\) because other drives have very important stuff that's he asks to remain them as usual.

This virus prevents the antivirus installation,applications etc;

This is the information available on net:
This virus once infecting a computer completely infects all EXE files and disables the 'Show hidden folders' option.
It blocks browsing to any major anti virus sites like McAfee, Kaspersky, Trend Micro, Symantec etc. After disabling the virus update engine module installed in the PC, it also removes registry keys from the Windows to prevent boot via Safe mode. Please provide me some solution to remove this malware.

I strongly suggest to use NOD32, as per my opinion. I was using it i never faced any problem of any kind of virus to my PC. Try it and install and try to remove.

get a bootable CD of nod32 or norton antivirus and scan through the system.
